I strive to support individuals seeking relief from a traumatic childhood or individual traumatic events, anxiety and depression, stress, perinatal loss/grief; and couples in need of relationship repair.
I use EMDR to reprocess traumatic memories and experiences from the past, to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and to work through grief from perinatal loss. I also use the Gottman method for couples counselling. I integrate other modalities during the session such as mindfulness-based approaches and somatic experiencing.
I support clients by validating and acknowledging their experiences, and to normalise the feelings, emotions, and behaviours that may follow trauma, loss, or relationship dysfunction.
Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.
