I see so many people who feel bad about themselves because they feel angry, sad, anxious, or overwhelmed. They have tried a bunch of different things and it has gotten to the point that it is interfering with their life. They aren’t happy and can’t enjoy their life.

In therapy, we focus on clearing limiting beliefs tied to disturbing life events. Sometimes it starts with learning why we react a certain way including why we get PTSD symptoms, then I do a bit of education. We focus on targeted techniques that clear away negativity.

After a few sessions, clients notice that their past doesn’t bother them anymore even though they know it was a bad experience. They feel relieved. They also notice that situations that would have set them off, don’t anymore. They feel good about themselves and feel like they can handle their future. They notice that they feel content with their lives more often.

You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.

What brings me a sense of ease

Canoe camping, listening to the drip of the water from the end of the paddle as we propel ourselves along the river, connecting to my Métis ancestors. Being quiet and alone in Nature brings me a sense of ease, after I let my body ground and calm. I start to notice Her beautiful and whimsical treasures.

More than my work

I have 5 kids, the youngest being identical triplets and boy o boy, my home is noisy! I have 2 dachshunds named after Santa’s reindeer.
